Astyn or who now likes to be referred to as Nanny Asty 🤍 Astyn has been our baby since we rescued him at 7 weeks from a kill shelter in Cali. Pat and I read and consistently read all the dog training and behaviour books out there to educate ourselves on what he needs. That being said every dog has their own personality and many of their characteristics come untrained. For Astyn he is extremely grounded, that go with the flow pup that is down for any adventure, has to say hello to everyone on his walk and also can’t resist any dog he comes into contact with. Since bringing River home that nurturing side of him has only elevated. He lets us know anytime Riv is about to start crying almost a “aren’t you guys going to do anything!” urge haha and kisses his toes in the morning to let him know he’s there. As one of our landlords once said to us “Astyn has beautiful Karma”, he‘s our soul pup. ..
